A Preferred Care Rider Shows His Effort Climbing Furman Hill With a course that is just under 6 miles, the elite race (pro/1/2/3) will see this course 9 times, for a total of 54 miles. At 48 miles, the category "3 only" race will see 8 times up Furman Hill, a solid little brick to the legs every lap. The category 4's and Masters 40+ do 7 laps each at 42 miles (Go ahead, ask Todd what he thinks about the typical 35 year old masters fields!). The open women's race and category 5/citizens races will both do the course 4 times, for a total of 32 miles. Spring Classic at Perinton Course Profile.
Notice Furman Hill climbs ~100 feet in about a quarter mile. Also notice that the finishing straight climbs 50 feet.
Profile peaks are exaggerated. Best Viewing For Spectators There are really three fantastic viewing points on the course.
